So whats the difference? I know the marketing of Laser Hair Removal can make it a bit confusing but essentially there are two different types of hair removal on the market: Laser & IPL.

Laser is proven to be more effective in hair removal and achieves better results long term whereas IPL clients need more treatments and may not achieve the same results because the machine isn't as strong.

Soprano machines are the highest quality machines on the market that have the best results. Its one of the most safest machines and is great to use on a vast range of skin tones.

There was zero downtime post treatments, I could do several body areas without concern, results have lasted a very long time and it never hurt!

On average, after 8-10 treatments, 80-90% of unwanted hair will be eliminated, and you can treat any subsequent hair growth with a touch-up treatment as needed.

You should avoid exposure to the sun for at least two weeks before the treatment. Any tanned skin should be faded before we begin the treatment. Do not pluck, wax or bleach for 4-6 weeks before/after the treatment.

However do shave the area you want treated 24 hours prior to your appointment.

I request that you shower before your appointment as well.

Contraindications

• Cancer; in particular, skin cancer

• Pregnancy (including IVF)

• Use of photosensitive medication and herbs for which light exposure is contraindicated

• Diseases which may be stimulated by light

• Prolonged exposure to sun or artificial tanning during the 3 to 4 weeks prior the treatment and post

treatment

• Active infection of herpes simplex in the treatment area

• History of keloid scarring

• Diabetes (insulin dependent)

• Fragile and dry skin

• Hormonal disorders (that are stimulated under intense light)

• Use of anticoagulants or history of coagulopathies

• Epilepsy

• Tattoos

• Accutane (concern, not contraindication)

Cold (not frozen) packs may be applied immediately post-treatment to cool the treatment site, reduce swelling and ease discomfort if indicated.

Care should be taken to prevent trauma to the treated area.

For the first four or five days following the treatment: avoid hot baths, excessive exercise, massage, etc.

Exposure to Sunlight: patients should apply high-factor, physical sun protection (SPF>30) and protect the treated area from exposure to direct sunlight for at least 3-4 weeks post-treatment.

Tanning after treatment sessions may enhance melanin regeneration, which may result in hyper-pigmentation.

Makeup may be applied on the day following treatment unless blistering or crusts develop.

Since the skin is sensitive during this period, take special care while removing makeup to avoid damage to the skin, which can predispose the site to infection.

CBD Products to help heal, lighten or tone would support efficacy and safety of hair reduction.

On the day of treatment, since the skin is sensitive during this period, take special care using topical products, if irritation persists, discontinue use.

This session is designed to treat multiple areas in one appointment (commonly legs, arms, underarms, bikini, and facial areas). Depending on body size, hair density, and treatment needs, we may prioritize key areas to ensure full, safe, and effective coverage within the allotted 75 minute time frame.

Should you need more time to cover more areas, you will be charged for the time spent (ie: $75 per 30 minutes)
