At Unfiltered Beauty, appointments are carefully reserved to give each client the time, care, and attention they deserve. To maintain a smooth experience for all, the following policies apply:

BOOKING & PAYMENT

A $50 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment and will be applied to the total service cost. You may also choose to pay in full at the time of booking. A 12% tax applies to all services in BC.

*Packages (except Full Body Laser Hair Removal) must be paid in full before the first session.
*Full payment is due at the time of service via cash, e-transfer, or Square
*Tips are not expected but always appreciated!

Please note: Booking fees are now required when scheduling an appointment to help protect my time and business. When clients miss appointments or cancel last minute, small businesses like mine lose out on potential clients who were hoping to secure that time and service. I kindly ask that you respect my time and business in the same way you would any larger company.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

To reschedule, a minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to move your appointment and retain your original booking fee.

Changes requested with:

• Less than 7 days’ notice → $50 rebooking fee applies.

• Less than 48 hours’ notice → 50% of the service cost will be charged.

To secure a new time, you’ll be asked to pay the rebooking fee or full amount upfront, depending on the timing.

These policies apply regardless of reason—including illness, work conflicts, transportation issues, or weather—as each slot is prepared for in advance.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Out of fairness to all clients and to protect service quality, the following applies:

• First-time late arrivals: A one-time grace period may be offered.

• 10+ minutes late (Future Appointments) → $25 late fee applies.

• 15–20 minutes late: If still able to accommodate you:

  • Your service time will be shortened, and

  • A $75 extended time fee applies for all services over 1 hour in length.

• 20+ minutes late: Your appointment will be cancelled, and you’ll be charged 50% of the service. To rebook, you must pay the full cost of a new appointment.

These fees apply regardless of the reason—including traffic, parking, or difficulty locating the studio—as time slots are booked exclusively for each client.

Thank you for understanding and respecting my time and the care that goes into preparing for your service.

MISSED SESSIONS (PACKAGES)

To stay on track with your results:

• Sessions missed may be forfeited.

• Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice may be forfeited or subject to a $50 fee.

ILLNESS

If you're sick on the day of your appointment, I’m happy to help you reschedule. A $30 rebooking fee will apply. Please wait at least 10 days after cold, flu, or COVID-like symptoms before rebooking to ensure safety for everyone.

REFUND POLICY

There are NO refunds on any products or services. Prepaid packages may be transferred to other services. However, the original price will be deducted based on used sessions, and the remainder adjusted accordingly.

TOUCH-UP TIMING (PMU BROWS)

If your touch-up is included in a promo or paid package, it is up to you—the client—to book it between 6–11 weeks from your initial appointment. Appointments booked after this window may incur additional charges.

PRIVACY & SAFETY

I take your privacy seriously. All credit card transactions are processed securely using encrypted technology to ensure your sensitive information is protected. I do not store or share your credit card details. Any personal information provided during your interaction with us, including contact details, will only be used to process your services, manage appointments, and communicate important updates. I do not sell or share your personal data with third parties without your consent. Your trust is important to me, and I am committed to safeguarding your information.

Unfiltered Beauty takes all precautions and follows strict sanitary protocols when it comes to services. I ensure that all services are done in a safe, sterile environment to reduce risk of infection to clients. I am a 5x certified artist and Unfiltered Beauty is licensed by the City of Vancouver and Health Inspected by Vancouver Coastal Health, so you’re in great hands!

REFUSAL OF SERVICE

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, including for inappropriate behavior, violation of policies, or anything that may compromise client or business safety.
