At Unfiltered Beauty, appointment times are carefully reserved to ensure every client receives the highest level of care and attention. To maintain a smooth and professional experience for all clients, the following policies apply:

I) BOOKING & PAYMENT

A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointments.

Your card will not be charged at the time of booking. It is securely stored on file and may only be charged in the event of a late cancellation, late fees or missed appointment in accordance with the policies below.

A 12% BC tax applies to all services.

Payment for services is due at the start of your appointment.

Package Payment Options

Packages must be paid either:

• in full prior to the first session, or
• in 2 instalments, with payment due at the start of sessions 1 and sessions 2

Failure to submit payment when due may result in the appointment not proceeding or your package & services cancelled.

Gratuities

Gratuities are never expected but always appreciated.

II) CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 72 hours notice.

Late cancellations (< 72 hours) or missed appointments will result in a no-show fee charged to the card on file:

• Services under $100 → charged the full service price
• Services over $100 → $100 no-show fee

These policies exist to protect the time reserved for your appointment

III) LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

To respect the schedule and other clients, the following late arrival policy applies:

• 10 minutes late: $25 late arrival fee will be applied.
• 20 minutes late: $25 late arrival fee will apply and the service may be shortened to accommodate the remaining time.
• 30 minutes late: the appointment will be cancelled and 50% of the service cost will be charged.

For package clients, appointments cancelled due to excessive lateness may result in the session being counted as used.

These policies apply regardless of reason, including traffic, parking delays, or notification to us.

IV) PACKAGE SESSIONS

To maintain treatment consistency and scheduling availability:

• Missed or late-cancelled sessions may be forfeited
• Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Sessions must be used within the package validity period

V) LASER HAIR REMOVAL PREPARATION

All treatment areas must be shaved 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Clients who arrive with areas not properly shaved may have their treatment shortened, however the appointment will still be counted as one full session.

Bikini and Brazilian areas cannot be treated during menstruation.

If a client arrives during their cycle and has not cancelled with the required 72 hours notice, the appointment may proceed with the remaining treatment areas included in the package, excluding the Bikini/Brazilian areas, and the session will still be counted as one full session.

Alternatively, the client may choose to cancel the appointment, in which case the session will be forfeited.

VI) REFUND POLICY

All services, booking fees, packages, and purchases are final sale.

There are no refunds, exchanges, credits, or transfers for any reason.

Unused, missed, or forfeited sessions will not be refunded or extended.

Booking fees and any applicable policy charges, including late arrival fees, cancellation fees, or no-show fees, are non-refundable.

VII) TOUCH-UP POLICY (PMU)

If your Touch Up is included in a promotional package, it must be booked 6–11 weeks after the initial appointment.

Appointments outside this timeframe may incur an additional fee.

VIII) PRIVACY & SAFETY

Your personal and payment information is handled securely.

Unfiltered Beauty is licensed, insured, and health-inspected and maintains strict sanitation standards.

IX) REFUSAL OF SERVICE

Unfiltered Beauty reserves the right to refuse service to any client who violates studio policies or engages in behaviour that compromises safety or professionalism.

Any form of abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
